  FRESH LOOK FOR TRADITIONAL PACKAGING – Fibrenyle, a division of Alcan Packaging Group, recently used VX CAD/CAM software to create a dramatic new look for a group of deodorant bottles from prominent brand names such as Dove, Sure and Impulse. Fibrenyle relied on VX to produce the subtle contours and eye-catching tilted head that proved to be more practical and more aesthetically pleasing.

The image above shows a close-up view of a typical noseguide created in VX as part of an Amchem solution for simultaneously drilling a set of holes in a turbine blade. The noseguide contains a multitude of tubes carrying cutting electrodes and high-pressure water in Amchem’s non-conventional electrical discharge machining devices.
