Using the VX Online Help System

 

 

Welcome to the VX v13 Online Help System!  We've made changes to this documentation so please take some time to review the Release Notes.  Enhancements, rather than bug fixes are typically reflected in the documentation.  

 

If you have any questions or issues regarding any VX documentation, you can now email the VX documentation manager directly at documentation@vx.com

 

 

To use the Interactive Help

 

SelectHelp go to Interactive Modeto enable VX Interactive Help.  While enabled, context specific help topics will display for each command you select.

 

 

To use Context Sensitive Help

 

Select Context sensitive help icon from any command options form to display a help topic specific to that command.

 

 

To Show Helpful Hints

 

Select Help go to Show Hintsto display hint dialogues during commands.  You can disable individual hints as they are learned.

 

 

To Browse the Help System

 

Select Help go to Help Browser...to load the complete VX help system.  You can then use the navigation pane to locate help topics.  Contents, Index, Search and a Favorites tab are available.
