The Tool Path Editor allows the inspection, modification, and copying of tool paths calculated from the active operation. After setting the modes for the editing session (i.e., Editing Mode and Insert Options), you can navigate through the tool path using the display list. Each cut in the tool path is listed. Selecting a cut from the list activates it.
More about the Tool Path Editor
The index of the active cut is shown in the Browse window. You can use the slider bar to move rapidly through the index of cuts. Browse buttons are also provided to go to the Start, End, or pick a cut from the graphics window. Use the Edit Cut buttons to operate on the active cut. You can Insert a new cut, Replace the active cut, or Delete it.
The second list displays the coordinates, speeds, and feeds associated with each point in the active cut if the Cuts & Points editing mode is selected. The active point is highlighted in the graphics window. Selecting a point from the list will activate it.
Again, the index of the active point is shown in the Browse window and the slider bar moves rapidly through the index of points. Browse buttons are again provided to go to the Start, end, or Pick a point from the graphics window. Use the Edit Point buttons to operate on the active point. You can Insert a new point, Replace the active point, or Delete it.
Use the Edit Toolpath buttons to control the entire tool path. Tool paths can be Transformed (e.g., moved, copied, or mirrored), Reversed, or Deleted.
