Zoom Control (Part/Sketch/Drawing
Sheet/CAM Level)
You can use a variety of zooming functions to change the scale factor of the current display. You can use Dynamic View to dynamically zoom in or out. There are also Zoom All and Zoom Window commands. At the Drawing Sheet Level there is also a Zoom Limits command. All of these commands are intended to make zooming easy and efficient.
Use this command to display the extent of
the visible part, sketch or drawing sheet.
Use this command to enlarge the display of
a window area by selecting two diagonal points.
Use this command to zoom out (i.e., show more
of the active object) by selecting two points to define a zoom window.
The display will zoom out where the window is located. The zoom factor
is based on the size of the window in relation to the current zoom factor.
Pick two diagonal corners of a zoom window.
Use this command to zoom in on a selected
point. This command stays active so that you can repeatedly select location
on the screen to control the zoom location and zoom factor. Middle-click
to end the command.
Use this command to re-display the active drawing sheet to its set limits.

Use this command to set the current view extents.
The Set View Extents Form is displayed showing the current extent
value.
Enter the desired view extent value.
Pick Apply to adjust the zoom level to the new value.
When you are done, pick OK to close the form.

Set the zoom factor the way you want it using any of the zoom commands and then make a note of the resulting view extent value using this command. Later if you want to return to that zoom level, use this command and the enter the view extent value. |
