Setting R point on each before operation

 

User Access:
Operations of center, drill, peck drill or chip break accepts another drill, peck drill or chip break operation as reference operations, so that each tool begins where the previous (referenced) tool stops for the same hole.

 

 

User Impact:
Using reference operations of drill, peck drill or
chip break to reset the R or start point of a hole
when multiple tools are used to machine the same hole.

The center drill should have also the option 'Pre-Req Opern'

 

User Access:
In hole making, operations of center, drill, peck drill and chip break accept drill, peck drill or chip break as reference operations. The reference operation will help to redefine the start point of a hole. Using a flat end mill, the reference operation prepares the flat area for centering.

The system also accepts drive surfaces for hole making operations to determine the start point of a hole. If both the reference operation and drive surfaces are used, drive surfaces have the higher priority to define the hole's start point.

 

 

User Impact:
The start point of a hole for centering can be redefined by using reference operation or using
drive surfaces as guide surfaces

Add Editor Capability to the Output Display Form to modify CL G&M output

 

User Access:
On the CAM Output Display form we have two buttons

VX edit: user Vx Built-in Editor
Edit : Permits users to open/start/select
his favorite editor.

 

 

User Impact:
Earlier users had no way to edit CAM Output files within VX. They were forced to start new application
and edit.

Cast Offset inside QM operations

 

User Access:
No user interface changes done.

 

 

User Impact:
When user wants to use part geometry as stock geometry for cast offset usage, now

he does not have to add stock (which is nothing but a another instance of same cam component).

'Face analyze' should be also inside a CAMPlan

 

User Access:
Analyze TAB has been added to CAM Gui in 13 and brings up the suite of "Part Analysis" functions.

 

 

User Impact:
CAM User will be able to analyze surfaces just as is done in CAD.

These display modes are available as an option under

1. Toggle Display Mode : toggle color for each segment in CAM toolpath polyline (cam cut data).
2. Up and Down : Display to identify up and down travel for each cut segment.
