Network Card ID
How do I find it?
There are three easy ways to find your Network Card ID.
- Download VXSysID Executible
- Through the VX License Installer
- From a Command Prompt
Download VXSysID Executible:

Right click HERE and select 'Save Target As'
|
|
When the download completes, run vxsysid.exe and jot down the first string, the Network ID
|
Through the VX License Installer:
|
If VX is installed, use your Windows Start Menu to navigate to All Programs > VXCorp > VX xx.x > Setup
|
|
If VX is not installed, run setup.exe from your install CD or your extracted ZIP file.
|
|
Click 'License Manager' on the VX Setup console
|
|
Click 'Get System ID Number'
|
|
Jot down the 2nd string, the Netword Card ID.
|
From a Command Prompt:
|
Open your Windows Start Menu and select Run...
|
|
Run cmd.exe
|
|
type 'ipconfig /all' and hit enter
|
|
Jot down the the Physical Address of your network adaptor (omitting dashes)
