PRESSMACH CHOOSES VX CAM
        Indian machine tool manufacturer Pressmach Pvt Ltd chose VX CAD/CAM software to demonstrate the power and efficiency of their all-new 6-Station Turret CNC machine tool, the SA1 720VT, unveiled at IMTEX 2004. Pressmach teamed-up with Siemens and VX reseller Pelorus Consulting in India for introducing the machine at IMTEX. Being the first model built, there was an air of anticipation on the show floor as the SA1 720VT was initially cranked up. But the machine with the tool paths generated by VX ran flawlessly.

        During development of the SA1 720VT, Pelorus defined test objects and toolpaths for the SA1 720VT using VX CAD/CAM. VX Corporation provided a one-click post-processor to produce the code required for the machine. "The machine performed well and we are delighted with the response we have received" said Pressmach project director Mr. Mahesh. "We knew that success at IMTEX would be pivotal to our sales expectations and left nothing to chance. VX is very robust software and we did not hesitate to entrust it with our flagship product."
