On-the-fly axis selection
- Any 3D command that prompts for a direction allows users to dynamically select the X, Y, Z axes of datum planes. A popular customer request to speed input, reduce key strokes and improve ease of use.
Automatic region recognition
- Face region picking allows VX to automatically recognize pick regions (connected sets) of faces. Users can more easily select pockets, bosses and other logical sets of faces, significantly reducing the number of picks.
- When prompted to select (filter set to face) the right-click menu provides the option to select Face Region.
Instant jump to CAM and drawings
- Instantly navigate to a new drawing or CAM plan from a part/assembly.
- This can give you a 2D drawing sheet layout of the part or a CAM plan with a minimum number of steps improving productivity and reducing mouse clicks.

VX file search
Added a File root object search and "Root Object" scrolling list making it faster and easier to find and load specific parts, assemblies and drawings objects.
