V13 Sketching Enhancements

New Line manipulation & feedback
  • Enhancement that previews the Angle, horizontal and vertical offsets and line length.  This easy-to-use command also speeds the creation of perpendicular, parallel and angles lines.
vxText follows profile curves
  • In the Sketch mode, users can place text on a circle or spline curve and the text will automatically follow the profile. Optionally, the text can be made to stretch or shrink as the curve length changes. A great tool for product branding and packaging applications.

  • Bowties are removed from spline curves for curves with a small radius and an offset that’s larger than the radius.

2D Proportional Dimensions
  • The new "overall scale factor" adjusts font size to the zoom factor to make dimensioning easier to read.  If you are zoomed out in a sketch, new dimensions will be larger and readable.  If you are zoomed in working on something small, new dimensions will be small and readable at that zoom factor. For users that like VX the way it was in earlier versions this can be disabled in Utilities Configuration.
